Rates & Scheduling
As a multi-state (CA, NY, & FL) licensed therapist I want you to feel comfortable with me as your therapist. Finding the right therapist can take time and I want you to be sure that working together is a good fit. Please contact me if you are interested in scheduling a free initial 30 minute consultation. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about starting this process. If we determine that this is not the right "fit', I will provide you with other resources in your community.
Fee for Services

A standard therapy hour is typically 50 minutes long. At times Dr. Asencio may recommend for Couples as well as EMDR sessions to be 80 minutes long, depending on your individual needs. Intake Session (Individual) - $330 for an 80 minute session Individuals Session - $220 for a 50 minute session Intake Session (Couples/Families) - $375 for 80 minute session Couples Session - $250 for a 50 minute session Couples & Family Session - $375 for a 80 minute session EMDR Sessions - $330 for an 80 minute session EMDR Intensives - please reach out for more information |

Asencio Family Therapy offers Premarital Counseling for those who are ready to take the next step in their relationship. We want to help you start this next journey stronger and more confident to handle potential obstacles. While feeling safe and secure to turn towards your partner.
Dr. Asencio is trained in Prepare Enrich and Building A Lasting Connection TM. Please speak with Dr. Asencio about which program is best for you, both provide couples tools to learn more about each other and build a strong foundation. Scheduling
Dr. Asencio meets with client virtually Tuesday-Thursday. Appointment availability varies, but she is generally able to work with your schedule. To request an appointment, call Dr. Asencio at (619) 356-0185, email directly, or schedule an appointment directly via Asencio Family Therapy Portal.
Sliding Scale
Reduced rates may be available based on financial hardship. If possible, Dr. Asencio will do her best to work with you, depending on your situation and needs. Insurance
Dr. Asencio is only credentialed with Tricare West. If you have another insurance provider and your plan includes coverage for “out of network” providers you can be provide a super-bill* to submit to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement.
*Dr. Asencio provides every client with a detailed invoice for sessions as well as a Superbill. A Superbill is a form insurance companies use that allow clients to be reimbursed directly from their insurance carrier for out of network services.

Payment
Is due at the time of service. For your convenience, Dr. Asencio accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, & Discover. Flex cards or HSA cards are also accepted.
Credit Card Authorization Policy
Clients are required to maintain a credit card or debit card on file. This policy maintains several benefits: It allows clients to access services over the phone in case of urgency and services that do not otherwise require face to face contact. This policy also increases commitment to therapy and minimizes paperwork. No shows and late cancel appointments are charged the full session fee.
Cancellation Policy
Dr. Asencio maintains a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you fail to show up for your scheduled therapy appointment or have not notified Dr. Asencio of your cancellation at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment, you will be required to pay the full cost of the missed session.
