​What is a "Therapy Hour"?
Fees are based on a "therapy hour”, which is 50 minutes long. This allows the remaining time to receive payment and for me to complete your session notes.

What is the standard cost per session?
Fees:
For first time clients I do offer a free initial 30 minute in-person consultation.  It is important to me that working together will be a good fit.  This time will allow us both the opportunity to see if working together is in your best interest.  If after the 30 minutes you would like to extend to a 50 minute session the cost of the session would be pro-rated.  

Subsequent sessions would be $150 per therapy hour (50 minutes)

Are you credentialed with any insurance companies?
Dr. Asencio is currently not accepting insurance clients. If your plan has an out-of-network benefits please confirm with your insurance provider to determine coverage for mental health services.  If you choose to use your insurance you will be responsible to pay the full fee after each session and Dr. Asencio will prepare a super bill on a monthly basis.  Your insurance provider will reimburse (the percentage they cover) you.     

What is your Cancellation/Missed Session Policy?
A scheduled appointment means that time is reserved only for you. If an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the client will be billed for the regular price of the session. ​
